Hi,
Using the latest development version of MusE (downloaded from the github
repository last week) I created 4 med files containing my recorded bass
(recorded via the line-in slot of my soundcard, a Soundblaster Live 5.1). All
these med files each have two tracks, an audio input track and a Wave track.
The Wave track contains my recorded bass.
Whenever I want to prepare 3 of these 4 med files for an export to a Wave file,
MusE either stops responding and then dissapears from the screen (no process
ID regarding MusE existing then anymore) or disappears immediately from the
screen.
This happens when I do the following:
When I right-click into the Arranger Canvas in order to define a region which
should be exported to a Wave file (from the beginning of the track containing
my bass to the next possible position behind the end of my recording), and
then use the keyboard shortcut ALT+P. At the moment when I apply ALT+P, then
Muse either freezes and then disappears from the screen, or MusE immediately
disappears from the screen.
But I was successful with exporting one of these 4 med files to a wave file.
This med file was the first med file I created, containg a bass recording. When I
created the other 3 files (the affected ones) I used the med file which I created
first as a template for the other 3 med files which I cannot export to each a
Wave file.
I can send one of the affected med files (with the name
"jens_song_1_part_[x].med", where x is a number between 1 and 3) and the wave
file recordings of my bass belonging to that med file to a developer who wants
to look closer at this issue.
Regards,
Jens
PS: I wanted to use the Metronome, but I could not hear any metronome. I
activated the wav samples and then the Midi settings in the metronome settings
dialogue, but I could not hear the metronome.
